Anyway, my online search had found a fairly new POD (print on demand) company that had founded in 2005 called Zazzle and the setup was free.
It was an online marketplace that was easy to navigate and had their own simple graphics design program.
Setting up an online store was easy and took about an hour or so.
They were based in California, USA and sold products worldwide.
You Earn Royalty & Referral Income
The platform is easy to learn and allows you to generate royalty and referral income by promoting your original designs by creating an unlimited number of niche products.
You can also promote other popular designs on the site to earn a referral when it sells.
You design your products with simple templates so that people could easily personalize to suit their particular occasion or event.
People visiting a page could personalize almost anything with photos, names and dates etc. such as wedding invitations, birthday mugs, clothing etc.
Simply put, you make passive income by creating a virtual item once on the website and it can be sold over and over again in the marketplace.
Zazzle would handle customer service and shipping etc. on hundreds of product types from t shirts to gifts and cards for any occasion.
All one has to do was to populate the stores pages with original designs that would appeal to the marketplace for a chosen niche.

Once this creative mindset and habit is formed and you have desirable products, you might find that most of your sales are made while you sleep.
For example, we’re originally from Newfoundland, Canada which has a unique dialect and culture. The first products we created were text based funny sayings and quotes from around the island.
Some of the funny sayings and words were passed down from settlers that came over from the areas of southwestern England and Ireland between the middle 17th and 19th centuries.
Since then with the growing tourism industry, that store has taken on more of a nautical theme with modern style graphics but some of those old text based designs still sell to this day.
